Closing ceremony

This was our performance at the closing ceremony of the World Parliament of Religions in Melbourne, Australia last December. Thousands of people were in attendance, including many spiritual leaders from around the world. The music was provided by MC Yogi.

Golden days

Last night’s festival in Logan was packed out with over 500 people. We spent the entire week working on embellishments for each performance. The improvements brought cheers from the crowd. After the show the book table was so crowded that some people had to wait an hour to purchase a Bhagavad Gita. These are golden [...]

Thundering Applause

We had a wonderful festival in Redcliff – a fairly conservative town – last night. All 400 seats were sold out days before the show. It was a first class venue, with excellent sound and lighting facilities. Everyone loved the show. There was thundering applause after each performance … even my talk! We sold 20 [...]

Bliss in Brisbane

As our harinama party went out to advertise our local festival programs around Brisbane we were warmly welcomed by the people. There’s a magic to samkirtan that brings out the best in everyone!

What a pleasure!

800 guests came to the program in Nambour. And We sold 25 Bhagavad Gitas after the show. What a pleasure it all was!

Tired, but fully satisfied

Today we will do harinama and have a festival in Nambour, two hours drive from Brisbane. We expect the 500 seats in the hall to fill up quickly this evening. 10 more days left of our 3 month Australian tour. We’re all tired, but fully satisfied.

Byron Bay

Byron Bay is one of the most famous holiday resorts in all of Australia. Proud of it’s alternative life-style, it attracts young people from all over the world. Both our harinam parties and festival program were greatly appreciated there.

Brisbane

Our festival group has arrived in Brisbane and we are preparing for our 8 shows in the area.

Australia Day

Australia Day is the country’s national day and a public holiday. It comes just at the end of summer and is a day of national pride for the Australian people who throng to the parks, beaches and cities for massive festivals. In Sydney we did a 4 hour harinam which was loved by one and [...]

Small Town Kirtans

As our 2-month visit to Sydney winds down we’re continuing with our kirtan parties around the suburbs. We have two more festivals to go. Seeing the reaction of the people on the streets, they might be our biggest yet. View slideshow here.
